Each level unlocks more of the platform. Most of our real anglers reach Verified Angler
within a month of active use.
How Verification Works
We use a layered approach so a real angler can get verified in minutes while making it costly for bots to fake:
- Email: Confirm a live email. Catches 90% of casual bot accounts.
- Phone (SMS): Costs money for attackers to rotate numbers. Catches most bot farms.
- Photo + ID: Selfie alongside a government ID — we check the match. Photo is deleted; only a pass/fail flag is stored.
- Community-verified catches: 5+ of your logged catches get upvoted/confirmed by other verified anglers.
- Pro Verified: Manual review by TSI staff — guides, shop owners, content creators.
